coping mechanism…

keeping myself busy is my best bet to cope with what happened in the recent past.  for the past three days, traveling from mandaluyong to recto was no joke.  exhausted from the review, i had to travel back to my condo with a pounding headache.

 

i guess, my brain needs more glucose than i thought.  at the end of the day, i feel weak, tired and hungry.  as soon as i get home, i simply jump to my bed and sleep leaving me little or no time to study.

 

too bad our review was transferred from my school (located in front of my condo) to recto.  it usually takes us around 30 mins to get there and i had to wake up an hour earlier than the usual.

 

although traveling was a challenge, the venue was more conducive because they have lesser number of students per class.  the carinderia near the review center also offers a relatively cheap P25 combo meal with 2 viands, rice and soup.  this is a lot cheaper from the carinderia near my school.  

 

food was my concern.  not only do i need it for sustenance, but more importantly, i need to fuel my brain for the review.  so in the morning, i usually prepare for a hot mocha, bread with liver spread and banana/apple.  sometimes, instead of bread, i eat oatmeal or cornflakes.  for lunch, i eat carinderia food.  and for dinner, i usually prepare vegetable salad and soup.  my salad would made up of lettuce, tomatoes, apples with vinaigrette.

 

while reading, i usually munch on apples, bananas or boy bawang :)

 

today, i went home to quezon city to wash my clothes.  as soon as mama saw me, she readily asked if i already ate.  at 10pm, i haven’t had my dinner yet.  so as soon as i load my 1st batch of laundry, we went to jollibee to grab a quick bite.  

 

as of now, i am on my 2nd load of laundry.  i was advised by my classmate, who owns the condo that i’m renting, that the water bill is based on the commercial rate.  so to save up, i brought all my dirty clothes and bed sheets to qc :)  

 

i was also able to watch tv.  mixed nuts was on air.  gosh, how surprising that i was able to survive these past few weeks without tv.  more surprisingly, that i was able to survive with minimal or no internet at all.  that’s why even if it’s already in the wee hours of the morning, i am here, blogging and surfing with excitement.

 

when i wake up in a few hours, i have to bathe tikiwiki.  she’s already dirty and stinky.  i just feel guilty that i can only take care of her during the weekends.  she misses me so much and i have very little time to play with her.  hay, i miss her so much, and so are her “siblings.”

 

in a few hours, i’d be going back to the condo so i could prepare for monday’s review class.  my weekend is so short.  no time to rest. no time to have a good time.  but i guess, it’s for the best.  at least now, i have little time to think and dwell on my problems.  i already have so much to think about.  i just need some time to be alone and think…

    as of now, i rarely watch tv. i didn’t bring my tv at my condo so i can focus on my review eh.
